June 18th, 3:00 PM Michigan (eastern) time. I just talked quickly to my dad - didn't talk long,(Roaming charges are huge in Canada). He said that he and Ron are in Banff, Canada (near Alberta)... having a great time, over half way to Alaska... Yeah I am jelous that he has the kind of freedom and time to make this trip. He has earned it and surely deserves it. Have fun dad.
Dad is in Ankorage this morning. Maria is flying in there tomorrow. Got to Alaska last week (around June 23). Favorite place in Alaska so far is Valdes Peninsula. Having trouble connecting to the internet. Not updating his blog very well.
If the blind lead the blind, they both fall into the ditch...good luck.
